Terms of service
Last updated 2026-10-29
Who we are
ShelfRules (shelfrules.com) is an online service that checks product images against marketplace rules and, on paid plans, repairs them. These terms apply when you use the site or buy a plan. You can reach us at hello@shelfrules.com.
Using the service
Use the service lawfully and only with images you have the right to use. Do not submit images that are illegal or that infringe someone else’s rights. We may suspend access that abuses the service or its rate limits.
Plans, billing and cancellation
Paid plans are monthly or yearly subscriptions that renew until cancelled. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of successfully delivered SKUs, and a SKU that fails is not counted.
Payments are processed by Creem, which acts as Merchant of Record. You can cancel any time from the Account page. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are covered by the refund policy.
License keys
Your license key is your login. Keep it private and tell us at hello@shelfrules.com if it has been exposed. You are responsible for what is done with your key.
Results are not a guarantee
Checks and repairs are based on public marketplace rules as of the verification date shown on each rule. Marketplaces can change their rules or apply private ones. We do not guarantee that any image will be accepted, approved or ranked by any marketplace, and you are responsible for your final listings.
No affiliation with marketplaces
ShelfRules is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Amazon, Walmart, Etsy, eBay, TikTok, Shopify or Google. Their names are used only to describe their publicly documented requirements. All trademarks belong to their owners.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as is. We aim to keep it available but do not promise uninterrupted service. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
