Rule changes
A dated log of what changed in the rule library. Each rule page also shows its own verification date.
Amazon rules now come from Amazon's own pages
Amazon rules now use Amazon's Product image guide, Technical image file requirements and Image suppression pages as their main sources. Only the recommended longest side still comes from a Seller Forum reply. The tag for photorealistic AI-generated people is now a required rule instead of an unconfirmed one. New rules: Amazon maximum image size and color mode, one view of one unit in the Amazon main image, and eBay recommended size, file size and format.
First release
ShelfRules launched with the free checker, the fix tool and a library of public image rules for 7 platforms. Each rule was checked against the public pages of its platform and carries a source link and a verification date.
